One thing seen often in the otherkin community is a form of aspecting called "past life aspecting". There is a distinct difference between being someone who remembers having a past life, and BEING the person one was in that past life. When someone shifts perspective to that OF the past life, it is called "past life aspecting" and is a phenomenon in itself.
