Interfaces

<< | Who's Who | Internal Landscape >>

Our interfaces are non-sentient (to our knowledge) constructs and components of the system which help us cope, or maintain a common appearance, attitude, speech pattern, demeanor, and consistency. Some are mechanisms for accessing internal spaces as well, such as calling up memories, tracking linear time, etc. In other words, these are survival mechanisms that help us to interface with the external and internal worlds.

Close up of Control, the LogBook, Front and the Front Window on the right, with the Projector Screen and Aliessa's Tree in the background and the Bench on the left.

Sometimes individuals have better access to certain interfaces than other people do. Apparently Moonlite (who is deaf) has little access to our verbal Language Filter while Telré has exceptionally excellent interaction with it such that we call him our "Walking Thesaurus".
